After the Guernsey Press I went on to work for Summerhall Press who asked me to write the text for a book on a new printer and its features that they had recently purchased.

The HP Indigo 5000 stands apart from the rest as it provides a flexible approach to precise colour matching. It is ideal for the production of photo-speciality items. The press uses HP’s liquid ink technology to form much sharper images than xerographic dry toners. The sharpness in particular is noticeable at the edges of the halftone dots and fine type characters. This is due to the small size of the ink particles and the way these particles are transformed when they are on the press.

The tiny colour particles give sparkling colour and image quality and allow the primary characteristics to show through. We range from 100% recycled or FSC to uncoated or bright white gloss and silk.
The high quality paper transport system requires no alteration when changing paper type. A high capacity paper stacker provides:

· 100 sheets of 80 lb. text for 1″ holding tray for creating proofs and monitoring print quality.
